about

This is the first part of this Ballet that I have composed inspired by the texts of William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and by the admiration I feel for contemporary dance.
I also wanted to present the first part of a tribute to the Argentinian composer and bandoneon player Astor Piazzolla.

This is the tango that I feel, the one that represents me, the one that happens today in the Buenos Aires that lives in me, the pride of my generation, a music that embraces its culture and all its loved ones because it is leaving and will not return.

This production would not have been possible without the dedication and love for music of my dear colleagues: Agnes, Akiko, Petia and Jochen.
